Storytime: The Ramseur Public Library offers a Preschool Story Time program each Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. during the months of September through May. Story Time expands during the months of June and July to include children of all ages and is held Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of the Ramseur Municipal Building located at 724 Liberty Street. | Art at Town Hall: Town Hall hosts a rotating bimonthly art exhibit featuring local and area artists. Each exhibition kicks off with a “meet the artist” reception on the second Thursday of the opening month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Refreshments are served and the public is invited to attend these free events. | Barry T. Richardson Youth Fishing Tournament: The Kermit G. Pell Water Based Recreation Facility (Ramseur Lake), located at 549 Ramseur Lake Road , hosts its annual Barry T. Richardson Youth Fishing Tournament each August. Sponsored in part by Wal-Mart and United Water, the tournament is open to youth ages 5 to 15 and offers prizes for winners in two age groups.
